Description: Fort Pulaski was a pre-Civil War for used for overseas defense. During the Civil War, Union cannons decimated the structure compelling a surrender from the Confederates holed up inside. This was the last brick Fort built in the United State. The park offers interpretive programs and historical reenactments, a well as a short trip to the upland salt marshes that hold 11 endangered species.

Description: Hunting Island Park was designed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. The park attracts many amazing different animals, from loggerhead sea turtles to the rare coral snake.

Description: Edisto Beach offers the state's longest system of handicapped accessible hiking trails. The park has an environmental education center that helps preserve the world's largest estuaries.

Description: This park is the county's most comprehensive sports complex including indoor and outdoor sports areas and organized sports for all ages.

Description: The park is a waterfront park popular with both residents and tourists. The park is family friendly and provides lots of space for sports and relaxing.

Description: Camping is available at the northern end of the park. The sites will accommodate either 28 or 40 foot RVs, but no larger. Tent camping is also allowed in the camping area, and reservations are accepted, but must be made for a two night minimum.

Description: As most KOAs this one provides spacious RV sites, tent camping areas, and rental cabins, as well as many on site amenities and features. There is a pool, snack shop, fishing, pavilion, WiFi, Cable TV, coffee house, and playground.

Description: Tuck in the woods offers a serene woodland setting for both RV and primitive campers. It is a popular spot for summer travelers to get away from the city noise while still being close enough to enjoy the sites.

Description: Hilton Head RV Park has interior and waterfront sites available. The camp is open to the public year round, but they do no accept pop-up campers or tenting.

Description: This RV park offers 400 landscaped sites for long or short term rental. There is an on site pool and hot tub, clubhouse, sauna, tennis courts, fishing lake, driving range, and playground.
